In my backyard this September, the very ends of the branches of the oak trees have been falling to the ground. There are no signs of insect damage and all the leaves are green and healthy.
We think it is because of the low rainfall amounts this summer. We have contacted the USDA to see if they can shed some light on this mystery. If you find out anything, please let us know.
